Who we are
Bars and Tables Event Staffing is the data controller for personal data collected through this site, including the Adam and Eve Home collection. We decide why and how your data is processed.
What we collect and why
- Identity and contact data (name, email, phone) — to create your account, respond to booking and design enquiries, and provide the service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Account credentials — to authenticate you securely. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest in account security.
- Event and order details (dates, venue, guest counts, shipping address, piece selections) — to quote, staff, and fulfil your order. Legal basis: contract.
- Professional profile data (roles, skills, experience, service area, reviews) — to match professionals with client requests. Legal basis: contract.
- Support messages and call records — to answer and route enquiries through the helpline. Legal basis: legitimate interest in customer support.
- Usage, device data and IP address — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Marketing preferences — to send updates where you have asked for them. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.
Who we share data with
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, invoicing and tax compliance.
- Service providers and subprocessors such as hosting, database, telephony and analytics providers, acting on our instructions.
- Matched professionals or clients, where sharing contact and event details is necessary to deliver a confirmed booking.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as required for tax, accounting and legal obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised. Enquiry records that do not become orders are removed within 24 months.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority, and we will respond to requests within one month. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Security
