How lead pricing works

Your first 3 leads are free

After the intro allowance, a claimed lead costs 9% of the estimated value of that job — nothing more. The estimate is the hours booked multiplied by the published rate for your role, so the fee is always visible before you claim.

Attire

What should I wear to a formal wedding or gala?

Traditional black and white vest service: pressed black trousers, white long-sleeve shirt, black vest, black tie, closed-toe polished black non-slip shoes. Arrive dressed. Bring a spare shirt — one spill ends your night otherwise.

Attire

What is expected at a daytime garden or farm-table event?

Casual khaki and white: khaki trousers or skirt, plain white collared shirt, neutral apron if provided, non-slip closed-toe shoes. No logos, no bright accessories.

Bartending

How many drinks per hour should I plan to pour?

A common planning figure is two drinks per guest in the first hour and one per hour after. One bartender comfortably serves roughly 75 guests for beer and wine, or roughly 50 for a full craft bar. Confirm the actual bar plan with the event captain on arrival.

Bartending

What do I do when a guest is visibly intoxicated?

Stop service politely and without debate, offer water and food, and notify the event captain or venue manager immediately. Never argue at the bar. Where required by the venue or jurisdiction, alcohol service certification is mandatory — verify before accepting the booking.

Serving

What is the difference between buffet and plated coverage?

Buffet typically runs about one server per 40 guests; plated sit-down typically runs about one server per 20 guests because coursing is synchronized. Plated service demands tighter timing and more pre-shift briefing.

Serving

How should I handle a guest allergy or dietary restriction?

Never guess an ingredient. Take the request to the kitchen and return with the chef's answer. Mark the seat and tell your captain so the plate is tracked through the pass.

Event types

How do corporate events differ from private parties?

Corporate events run on schedule and optics: quiet clearing, discreet presence, tight timing around speakers. Private parties are warmer and more conversational but often run long — confirm overtime terms before the event.

Preparation

What should I do before every event?

Confirm the address, arrival time, parking, and dress code 24 hours ahead. Arrive 15 minutes early. Bring a wine key, lighter, black pen, spare mask of your own preference, and a phone charged for the client's contact number.

Pricing

What are the standing network rates?

Bar staff are matched at $45.90 per hour and floor staff at $35.90 per hour. Rates above this require client agreement in writing before the event.

Conduct

What happens if I cancel a confirmed booking?

Cancellations inside 48 hours affect your reliability standing on the network. Communicate as early as possible — early notice keeps your rating intact and lets the match be re-dispatched.

Reputation

How do ratings, reviews and referrals work?

Clients rate reliability, presentation and guest interaction after each event. Strong standing moves you higher in match order. Referring another professional with the active network code earns free future leads under the current reward cycle.

Upselling

Should I upsell at an event?

Only where the client has authorized it — for example an extended bar hour or a late-night coffee service. Offer it to the host, never to guests, and never to the client's detriment.

Certification, licensing and alcohol-service requirements vary by state and venue. Verify your local requirements before accepting a booking. Questions? 1-800-555-0190
